He had lost a mother, both grandmothers and a best friend to cancer. He had witnessed the people he loved fighting the toughest battles of their lives, and he wanted to redirect his sadness by pushing himself as hard as he could. The idea to skateboard from Los Angeles to Toronto came to him, and he went for it. Skate4Cancer continues to donate all proceeds to hospitals and charities.for more information: www.dreamlovecure.orgGIFTS Foundation is a grassroots charity that our HUNTCLUB family and friends started 10 years ago. Our mandate is to continue to feed, rebuild homes, and educate underprivileged people. Garrison Creek Bat Co. will be selling their handcrafted baseball bats and pennants at the Mutts & Co. Variety Store this week. This bat is part of the Trinity Bellwoods series, and the next park up to bat is Christie Pits.

We are also excited to sell illustrated maps of some of Toronto’s finest neighbourhoods by one of the members of Garrison Creek Bat Co. members, Dave Murray.
